New Brightman Music Artist Management client Baby Bee recently signed with Universal Republic Records. The group are made up of Joe and David Stark, brothers from Houma, Louisiana. The group are in good company, Universal Republic Records roster includes Eddie Vedder, Colbie Calait, Gotye, Florence and the Machine and The Secret Sisters to name a few. The band are currently in the studio working on their album to be released early 2013.
The Secret Sisters “Tomorrow Will Be Kinder” (produced by T Bone Burnett) was released on The Hunger Games: Songs From District 12 and Beyond March 27th, 2012. The album is produced by the amazing T Bone Burnett and is a compilation of songs inspired by the best selling book and box office smash film The Hunger Games. Other artists on the record include Taylor Swift, Civil Wars, The Decemberists, Arcade Fire, Maroon 5 and Miranda Lambert.
The Secret Sisters performed “Tomorrow Will Be Kinder” on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno March 22nd, 2012. The song is from the forthcoming album The Hunger Games: Songs From District 12 and Beyond.
Dallas, Texas based Songwriter and Producer Geoff Rockwell recently signed an exclusive co-publishing agreement with Mark Needham‘s publishing company M.A.N. Entertainment / Peer Music.
Mark Needham mixed tracks for O.A.R.‘s 7th studio album which will see a release later this year. Mark also worked with the O.A.R. on their 2008 album All Sides, which was released through Everfine/Lava/Atlantic Records.
Kato Khandwala produced and co-wrote songs from Blondie‘s new album Panic Of Girls, which includes the single “Mother” which recently went to #1 in Spain. A UK release date for Panic Of Girls has been set for June 1st and news about the US release should be announced shortly.
Brightman Music client Geoff Rockwell has been busy as of late with multiple projects including work on new albums from Forever The Sickest Kids and Crystal Bowersox. The new album from Forever The Sickest Kids will be released on 03.01.2011 through Universal Records.
