The Nook Studio

Grammy-winning producer/mixer/writer Greg Collins‘ recording studio, The Nook, celebrates 5 years of great music.

Originally built in 1975, the Nook Studio was acquired and completely re-equipped as Collins’ production and mixing space in 2006. Centrally located in Studio City, The Nook has the warm atmosphere and excellent acoustic properties of many of Los Angeles’ legendary Tom Hidley – designed rooms, with the unique personality and vibe that reflects Collins’ personal style and love of great music. The first sessions to take place at The Nook were for Gwen Stefani’s “Sweet Escape” album and the studio has since hosted sessions for a diverse range of artists including No Doubt, The Eels, KISS, Ingrid Michaelson, Amercian Hi Fi, Greg Laswell, and BT, as well as scoring work for Iron Man 2, ABC’s Detroit 187, and The Cartoon Network, among many others.
